Using IP Physical Security Technologies to Improve Hospital Safety
(Live Webcast December 15, 2010, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time)

Ireland’s St Vincent Hospital and ViS Security Solutions share best practices to provide protection to the hospital staff and visitors and how to deploy Physical Security solutions on the IP network. You are invited to join the Cisco-sponsored webcast.

The construction of the new St Vincent Private Hospital started in March 2008 and the new hospital will open in November 2010, complete with 236 in-patient bedrooms. With Cisco Video Surveillance Manager, IP Cameras, and Access Control, St Vincent was able to provide total convergence of all system components onto a single front end graphical user interface . The integration of all doors and alarm devices with the video surveillance platforms allows for events to be associated with tagged video and presented onto the Cisco virtual matrix and Access Control UI enabling ease of operation and control. The converged Cisco Physical Security solution offers both value for money and provide a reduction in the total cost of ownership in the future.
