Monitoring
Remote Monitoring of Security Systems is becoming more popular since the introduction of smart technologies and collaborative systems. Today most of our clients are taking the monitoring of systems more seriously as not only does this process provide a reduction in operating and management costs, but it also provides an increased security presence and response to incidents and control.
Alarm Monitoring
ViS has a dedicated PSA/NSI approved monitoring centre that provides 24/7/365 monitoring of Intrusion Detection and Fire Alarm Systems using analogue and IP based communications with GSM Dual Path Signaling for redundancy and back-up. The monitoring centre is manned at all times with multiple highly skilled operators that have been trained in response and dealing with incidents including communicating with law enforcement agencies.
CCTV Monitoring
ViS also offers CCTV monitoring for our clients. Using IP based systems we can integrate the CCTV systems with alarm systems and perimeter detection systems and when used with audible warning systems, this will allow for your system to be certificated and monitored to BS8418 Standards. Using Passive and Active Infrared Technologies and also the latest in Laser Detection systems we can trigger events and alerts through the CCTV systems that will move cameras to preset positions and display the live video alarm at our monitoring centre. Using audible warning systems, our operators can challenge the intruders and also if required, contact the Police whilst maintaining a vigil and close watch on the premises until the arrival of the Police and the safe removal of the intruder has been achieved.
Peace of Mind
All of the ViS Monitoring staff have undergone rigorous compliance training on the management and handling of CCTV and Intruder Alarms and operate the systems in accordance with PSA/NSI Guidelines and European and British Standards. Our Monitoring Centre has been designed and installed to European and British Standards ensuring that there is extensive resiliency both in terms of power and transmission back-up facilities, and that it is protected from multiple various forms of attack. Each alarm from the Intruder and CCTV systems is backed up onto a secure database that allows for reports to be generated and evidence to be stored in compliance with Legal and Data Protection Acts for the Preservation of Evidence and the Prosecution of Offenders.
