In recent years the retail sector within Ireland has grown significantly and ViS has been involved in some of the major redevelopments and new builds throughout the country. Our experience within this sector includes large shopping malls, large multiple site retail chains and also the independent retailers throughout the country.

Our product portfolio within the retail sector extends to IP and Conventional CCTV, Fire Alarm Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Perimeter Protection Systems and Access Control Applications.

Working in partnership with the PSNI Crime Prevention Unit we were instrumental in the establishment of a robbery prevention initiative for many of the smaller retailers within Northern Ireland and have received recognition and awards for our work and endeavour within this sector. This project involved the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of preventative robbery measures and the training of staff within the smaller retail units in order to assist them in dealing with these quite traumatic experiences. This pilot scheme resulted in a reduction in robberies within the area and led to the secure prosecution of individuals involved.

Currently we are involved in a major retail project which includes the design, installation, maintenance and monitoring of integrated voice, CCTV, Intrusion and Perimeter Detection, Access Control and Fire Detection Systems which will allow for the central monitoring of these larger shopping and retail developments from our central monitoring station. This has a significant benefit to our clients as not only can the security design and applications reduce their ongoing costs, but it can also increase the effectiveness of their security applications.
